Daniel J. Chiacchia is an incoming PhD student in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the University of Toronto. He holds a Master’s degree in Social and Personality Psychology from York University and he is currently a Research Advisor at Ontario’s largest child and youth mental health agency. Daniel’s research interests include the social psychology of working in the digital economy (e.g., the automation of work and dehumanization, ‘gig’ work); leadership during threat and uncertainty (e.g., how leaders effectively adapt to change); as well as best practices in quantitative methodology, including open science, replicability, statistical power, data visualization, and effect sizes.
